Tiger
The Tiger Cub program is for 1st Grade boys, or those who are 7 years old.
A Tiger actually consists of one scout and one adult partner.
The two are a team and go through the Tiger program together.
The Tiger Den is unique - no other den is structured in this way.
A Tiger must first earn his Bobcat badge (see Bobcat, above),
then he can begin earning his badge of rank.
The Tiger will work with his adult partner to earn 5 beads for his Tiger-paw Emblem in each of three categories:
Family (white beads), Den (orange beads), and Go-See-It (black beads).
Each completed requirement earns one bead.
Beads are awarded at the Den Meeting, as soon as the Den Leader records the progress.
Once all 15 beads have been earned, he has completed the requirements for his Tiger badge.
Badges of rank are awarded during a ceremony at the monthly Pack Meeting.
As long as Pack 76 qualifies as a "100% Boys' Life" unit, we receive our badges of rank for free.
After earning the Tiger badge, he can earn electives.
For every 10 electives he completes, he will earn one yellow bead for his emblem.
Tigers can work on electives as often as they like throughout the program,
but elective beads can only be awarded after the Tiger badge is earned.
Whether or not a Tiger has earned his Tiger badge, he is eligible to join a Wolf den
when he is 8, or has completed the 1st grade.
Pack 76 generally promotes dens after Resident Camp.

Advancements
Wolf
The Wolf program is for 2nd Grade boys, or those who are 8 years old.
Wolves must first earn their Bobcat badge if they are new to Scouting (see Bobcat rank, above),
then they can begin earning their badge of rank.
To earn the Wolf badge, boys work on completing 12 achievements.  Each achievement has several requirements.
For each 3 achievements completed, boys will earn one yellow bead for their Progress Toward Ranks Emblem.
Beads are awarded at the Den Meeting, as soon as the Den Leader records the progress.
(Boys will wear this emblem in the Bear den also.  As Bears, they will work on 4 red beads.)
Once all 4 yellow beads have been earned, they've completed the requirements for their Wolf badge.
Badges of rank are awarded during a ceremony at the monthly Pack Meeting.

The first arrow point is gold, any others earned will be silver.
Arrow points are awarded during a ceremony at the monthly Pack Meeting.
Wolves can work on electives as often as they like throughout the program,

Bobcat
Each new Cub Scout, regardless of his age or grade, must earn the Bobcat badge first.
This badge covers all the basics of Cub Scouting and equips the new Scout to fully participate with the Pack.
There are 8 requirements for this badge:
Four involve reciting - Cub Scout Promise, Law of the Pack, Cub Scout Motto, and the meaning of Webelos.
Three involve showing - Cub Scout Sign, Salute, and Handshake.
One is to be completed with his parent:
It is a guided discussion about protecting him from predators - known and unknown, in person and on the internet.
This requirement is age-specific, and the requirement booklet is removable from the Scout's handbook.
Once he has completed the 8 requirements, he will have earned his Bobcat badge.
Badges of rank are awarded during a ceremony at the monthly Pack Meeting.
As long as Pack 76 qualifies as a "100% Boys' Life" unit, we receive our badges of rank for free.

Webelos
"We-be-lo-s" stands for "We'll Be Loyal Scouts".  It is both plural and singular.  There is no "Webelo".
The Webelos program is a two-year program, and the main objective is to prepare for Boy Scouts.
Webelos is loosely divided into first-year (Webelos I - 4th grade) and second-year (Webelos II - 5th grade),
though all Webelos complete the same requirements, regardless of age or grade.
Webelos program is for 4th & 5th Grade boys, or those who are 10 or 11 years old.
Webelos must first earn their Bobcat badge if they are new to Scouting (see Bobcat rank, above),
then they can begin earning their badge of rank.
In Webelos, boys work on Activity Badges (which are actually pins), worn on the Colors apparatus,
and Compass Points, worn on the Compass Points Emblem, with the ultimate goal being the Arrow of Light.
There are 20 Activity Badges, divided into five groups:
Physical skills, Mental skills, Community, Technology, and Outdoors.
They will earn their Webelos badge, then the Compass Points Emblem, and then their Arrow of Light.
The Arrow of Light is the highest award in Cub Scouting,
and is the only badge that carries over to the Boy Scout uniform.
To earn the Webelos badge, boys must complete the following:
They must be active in a Webelos den for three months,
complete three activity badges (fitness, and two others from different groups),
and 5 other requirements as detailed in the Webelos handbook.
After these requirements are met, he has earned his Webelos badge.
Badges of rank are awarded during a ceremony at the monthly Pack Meeting.
As long as Pack 76 qualifies as a "100% Boys' Life" unit, we receive our badges of rank for free.
After earning four more Activity Badges, he will receive his Compass Points Emblem.
For each four Activity Badges earned thereafter, he will receive a Compass Point to attach to the Emblem.
The Compass portion of the program is optional,
as there are only a total of eight Activity Badges required for the Arrow of Light award (see below),
and is "okay to skip" if a Scout has joined well into the 5th grade and is on a fast-track to earning his Arrow of Light.
To earn the Arrow of Light, there are six requirements
(including earning the Webelos badge plus five more Activity Badges),
the rest of which is detailed in the Webelos handbook.
Upon the completion of the Arrow of Light and is at least 10 1/2 years old,
he may "Crossover" into a Boy Scout Troop during a poignant and solemn ceremony
involving the whole Cub Scout Pack and the new Boy Scout Troop.
Pack 76 is associated with Troop 760 - we are both chartered by Westside Elementary.
Our Webelos will typically cross over into this Troop,
however, boys are welcome to join any Troop they wish.
